In 1964, the second year of the C2; Chevrolet put its focus on ride and performance of the Corvette. The '64 received a single pane back window, lost the simulated air intakes on its hood and receive a functional air intake on the left rear pillar. Chevrolet took large strides to improve the comfort of the Vette's ride without diminishing performance by adding progressive-rate springs, and redesigned shocks.
